Welcome from all the children

Welcome to the KKI South Asia

Get to know KKI SA, learn who we are, see the latest pictures, get in touch with us and join a team, a school or a seminar or become a regular friend and supporter through prayer. We are a team of younger and older people from South Asia and other countries and our common vision is:

To reach out to all children in South Asia with Gods love and to share with them the value they have in Him.

If you have additions to the site, happenings in your area that you would like people to know about, get in touch with me.

Quote of the week

Love is kind and patient, never jealous, boastful, proud, or rude. Love isn't selfish or quick tempered. It doesn't keep a record of wrongs that others do. Love rejoices in the truth, but not in evil. Love is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting. Cor. 13, 4-7

I have been reading this passage many times but somehow I never made the connection to working with children, especially with difficult and hurt children like the street children, the children in the slums and the abused ones who have suffered a lot and have a hard time to understand and accept love, because they have not had much experience with genuine, no strings attached love!

Here we are challenged to exactly that kind of love, love who does not remember the bad things that happened, the unpleasant experiences we had with the children but a love that is fresh and ready to reach out every new day. A love that always trusts and hopes for the best in the children.

Thats the way Jesus loves us, are we ready to do the same?

Book of the months

Three cups of tea

One Man's ,mission to promote peace ... One School at a Time

Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin

Do think that nothing good is happening? Do you need an inspiration what you could do with your life?

The book about Dr. Greg, as the people in  Pakistans remore areas call Greg Mortenson will enspire everybody and hopefully challenge as well. Greg is building schools one at a time in remore vilages with the help of the local people who have been waiting for decades if not centuries for somebody to help them to educate their own children.

It all started with a failed attempt to climb K2, one of the worlds highest mountains. Instead Greg stumbled into a village, became frieds with the people there and started to invest into their lives.

The book is a must read!
